Irving, TX (July 12, 2012) In yet another example of APS' growing appeal with municipalities and transit authorities, today the Irving City Council proudly awarded APS the Annual Contract for Brake Parts for Public Safety Vehicles. APS will work closely with the City of Irving's Public Works Department, Fleet Maintenance Division to ensure that stock levels of all brake parts are maintained and facilitate the delivery of all new parts orders. "We feel extremely privileged to have a relationship with the City of Irving, and to do our part in seeing that the Public Works Department has the resources to continue the trend in providing outstanding service to the wonderful residents of Irving, TX", said Ed Brown, Sr., APS' Senior Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy. The contract has a one year base term, with two renewal options.

Dallas, TX (December 20, 2011) APS partners with South Oak Cliff High School, of the Dallas Independent School District, to make Christmas a special one for area students. More than 100 students, ranging from elementary school to high school, benefited from this community-wide service project. "We take great pride in giving back to our youth, which hopefully becomes a guiding principle in their lives as adults", said Ed Brown Jr., APS' CEO. Participating sponsors donated clothing, footballs and basketballs, bicycles, dolls, and action figures.

Dallas, TX (September 9, 2011) Today, APS donated school supplies to South Oak Cliff High School as part of an ongoing initiative to help enhance educational efforts for students in local communities. The donations, ranging from scientific calculators to composition notebooks, give educators the tools they need to enrich the classroom experience, while simultaneously inspiring students to embrace learning. This measure helps to strengthen the teacher-student bond, where teachers can stimulate creativity, promote critical thinking, and instill core academic skills among students. APS strives to ensure children are well prepared to learn in spite of the economic hardships they may experience at home. We are pleased to be involved in this important effort to meet the needs of students in the Dallas Independent School District community.

Dallas, TX (April 1, 2011) - APS announced today its long term role as a people mover parts subcontractor for Bombardier Transportation (Toronto Stock Exchange: BBD), which manufactured and operates its automated people mover (APM), the INNOVIA APM 200, for the Dallas/Ft. Worth International Airport (DFW). The 64-vehicle INNOVIA APM 200 fleet serves 10 stations on 5 miles of dual lane elevated guideway. APS will provide Bombardier with parts and industrial supplies to help ensure the highest levels of passenger safety and comfort.Bombardier Transportation leads the world's rail equipment manufacturing and servicing industry. Their products include people movers, monorails, light rail vehicles, advanced rapid transit, metros, commuter/regional trains, intercity/high speed and very high speed trains and locomotives. There are currently more than 100,000 Bombardier rail vehicles in service worldwide.

Dallas, TX (December 10, 2010) APS helps families in need by donating time and money to the DART Police Department Santa Cops Program. The donation helps ensure that the Santa Cops Program continues to provide food and toys to at least 200 North Texas families during Christmas time.

Dallas, TX (November 26, 2010) APS is a subcontractor for Fluor (NYSE: FLR) on the U.S. Army Logistics Civil Augmentation Program IV (LOGCAP IV). APS has been a vital partner to Fluor in providing automotive parts, automotive tools and industrial supplies.Under Task Order 2 of the LOGCAP IV contract, Fluor is providing multi-functional base life support and combat services support (CSS) to the U.S. and Coalition Forces in Afghanistan. Under Task Order 4, Fluor is simultaneously constructing and managing the expansion of eight Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) in Southern Afghanistan. This includes the construction of an FOB to accommodate 17,000 to 20,000 U.S. Military personnel.
